Associated with this event will be the Conference – Prison Models and Social Reintegration, on 19 October and the Exhibition – Photographic Project of Portuguese Prisons from 19 October to 5 January.

These events result from a joint work between the National Archives of Torre do Tombo, the Centre for Research and Studies in Sociology of ISCTE, Professor Daniel Fink (University of Lausanne) and the photographers Peter Schulthess and Luís Barbosa.
