Activities

The entities that decide to be part of the activities concerning the Abolition of the Death Penalty and the Charter of Law of Abolition of the Death Penalty (1867), are free to choose the way how they want to take part in the initiative.

The activities may involve, but not be limited to:

  • Lectures on the Abolition of the Death Penalty;
  • Virtual, bibliographic or documentary exhibitions;
  • Book launchings;
  • Guided tours;
  • Concerts;
  • Readings;
  • Viewing of documentaries or films;
  • Workshops and educational workshops;
  • Theatrical plays or painting/drawing/literary contests.

The website “150 years of the Charter of Law of Abolition of the Death Penalty in Portugal” aims to work as the place for all activities to be developed by each member. The institutions promoting the activities advertised here hold full and exclusive responsibility for all said activities.

Sending contributions

The information related to the activities must be contained in the digital form that is found in the tab Agenda.

In order to communicate the activities on the agenda in time, we ask that all the interested provide the information related to the activities, at least, one month prior to the beginning of the activity.

Submitting contributions

The form is not limited to certain entities. However, only the contributions of the entities invited to participate in the activities, and after the approval of the DGLAB, will be published here.

We will gladly send all necessary information to participate in the activities related to the the Abolition of the Death Penalty and the Charter of Law of Abolition of the Death Penalty (1867).

Dissemination of activities and agenda

The DGLAB has the role to publicly disseminate and regulate all contributions by the entities involved in the activities on the 150 years of the Abolition of the Death Penalty in Portugal website.
